Mid Term Projects

Yikes,  it's mid-terms and I have to propose 3 different projects for my 3 classes.  Talk about crazy.  So here's the photos and concept that I am pursuing.  I'll know later next week if these have been accepted, but here's to the next 7 weeks of projects...

PH601: Concept in Photography
Reflections in IR.  I want to use my new IR camera and do a series on reflections.  I've always been intrigued by the reflections in the water of trees and leaves.  The IR adds a new twist to that view.

PH611: Contemporary Landscape
I decided to find an excuse to fly more...photography.  I'm going to do a series on farms from the air

 PH612:  Nature of Photography
You are always being watched.  Take a look around and even when people are not around, there are faces watching you.

Here are some photos I took when I was in Colorado a few weeks ago to volunteer at High Lonesome 100. 

Trying for Meteors

I went out last night to see if I could photograph the Persieds meteor shower.  I think I saw 3 meteors over the course of 3 hours.  Only one was captured, but it also seems I may have been facing the wrong direction.  I went to Caesar's Creek and set up at the dam.  However, I did get a few neat shots.  Need more practice, but that's part of learning.
