TN Get Away

We headed down to Crossville TN for Labor Day weekend.  It's about 90 min east of Knoxville.  We landed there earlier this summer for gas, and the folks were too nice not to want to explore the area a bit.  Nice golf and hiking, little shy on the food scale.

Stonehenge Golf Course:  This hole was pretty dramatic...

We then went hiking in the Obed River Scenic River Park.  This is a part of the Cumberland Gap Trail.  It was a strenuous hike, but with nice views of the Daddy's Creek.  Given the time, we were unable to make it to the Obed River.

The next day we went hiking again in the Cumberland Mountain State Park.  These trails were a bit easier, with lot of frogs and mushrooms
