Orchids

Mark bought a cymbidium about two years ago, while living here in OH, with me in UT.  We've enjoyed them, but have never had luck getting a second bloom out of them.  Usually we get leaves, till we manage to kilt.

About a two months ago, i noticed a flower spike starting to grow.  The buds plumped, but nothing happened.  I'm a member of our local orchid society, so I reached out to them.  It was suggested that it needed cooler temps, so I put in it with our wine.  Sure enough on Christmas day, we noted one of the buds opening.  Yesterday, we came home to a full bloom.  So excited!
